Golf Simulators Recommendation
FlightScope Mevo – Portable Personal Launch Monitor for Golf
Golf simulators should be accurate, easy to use and set up, and provide actionable feedback. FlightScope Mevo checks all of the boxes here for a must have golf gadget. It has an app provided with it that can create the simulation environment whether you are on the course, the range, or hitting into a net.
The Benefits:
Mevo helps you train with every club in the bag. You can evaluate swing characteristics like swing path, smash factor, carry distance, and launch angle. When you can measure and improve on these numbers, you are on your way to better golf. For some, it may be expensive but is a good investment to improve your game.
FlightScope created a solid product here. It is regularly used on the PGA Tour to dial in their games. It is so much more efficient than a laser rangefinder and more fun to use as well.
Practice Mat Information
GoSports Tri-Turf XL Golf Practice Hitting Mat – Turf Mat for Indoor Outdoor Training, Green
Most of us are used to the worn-out practice mats of our local driving range. In reviewing a mat, we were looking for one with multiple types of simulated turf, portability, and durability. Hitting off a standard driving range mat is fine for refining your technique, but you need to feel different types of grass and how the club is going to move through them.
The Benefits:
The testing team (including myself) at Tell Me More Golf concluded that this golf gadget had several benefits. Because it is 2 feet by 2 feet, you can take it to your local range and practice. In addition, we noted that the artificial grass did not get worn or torn during the hundreds of test shots.
It was like new after it was tested. Although it is portable, you cannot fit it in the bag, but that does not mean you cannot keep it in the car for range sessions. It did leave a plastic film on some clubs, but a quick cleaning and scrub got that off.
Use this mat to practice finding your yardages with different clubs while getting used to the feel of different surfaces. Simulating real conditions in practice is an excellent way to improve your game more quickly than just hitting a bunch of range balls off of a standard mat.

GPS Watch Findings
Garmin Approach S62, Premium Golf GPS Watch, Built-in Virtual Caddie
Under the category of cool golf stuff, this GPS-enabled watch from Garmin should be at the top. Being fortunate enough to test it at my home course, I can speak to its accuracy and reliability. In addition to those two qualities, it needs to be comfortable enough to wear for 18 holes.
The Benefits:
Garmin has made this watch simple to get set up and find the course that you are playing. The display is easy to read and the battery life was great as I initially played two rounds with it and did not charge it in between.
This golf gadget also provides a visual of the hole design complete with hazards and adjusted yardages for uphill and downhill shots. The club selection helper was hard to program at first but just took some time to get used to.
This watch was deliberately tested on my home course because it has quite a bit of elevation change.
While rangefinders are great, a watch that performs so many functions is like having a virtual caddy with you on the golf course. The ability to hone in on both the real yardage and the yardage adjusted for elevation was a game-changer. After a few shots, I could tell that this would be a valuable asset to any golfer.
Training Aids Explained
Balight Swing Trainer Aid and Correction for Strength Grip Tempo & Flexibility Training
When researching golf training aids for purchase, you need to look for three key characteristics. These include simplicity, portability, and durability. One of the top golf accessories that you will see golfers using before a round is this swing trainer. It can be stored in your bag, stays intact, and is as simple as swinging a club.
The Benefits:
This training aid is designed for tempo and flexibility before your round. This makes it one of my all-time favorite go-to warm-up tools. It has a whippy shaft and a weighted ball at the end. This combination helps your golf game by getting your muscles loose and builds a smooth tempo.
To play your best golf, swing this before a round. You will find that you cannot swing it too fast because of the shaft and you will feel warmed up because of the weight. The grip is a regular golf grip and can get smooth after regular use.
On the PGA Tour, you will find most players with this training aid as part of their golf equipment. It is such a simple but effective way to get warmed up and feel loose before you even hit a golf ball. Stretching before a round is unfortunately not on most golfers to-do list, so being able to swing a club 10-15 times to help makes this a great go-to pre-round helper.
Ball Markers Reviews
GOLTERS Lot of 12 Golf Ball Markers Assorted Patterns
When you play golf, you need to have golf ball markers. Most people use coins from their pockets or grab a handful of plastic ones from the pro shop before they play. You need ball markers that are heavy enough, durable, and fun. This package of 12 markers is ideal for keeping in your bag.
The Benefits:
These markers are bright and fun. Having a lot of 12 is important because you inevitably lose some, and at some point, one of your playing partners is going to ask you if you have an extra marker. These golf gadgets are smaller than some people prefer, but any larger than a quarter is just too big for a ball marker.
The best golf accessories are not always going to be a game-improvement tool. Ball markers are a necessity. But, that does not mean you cannot still be creative and have a colorful way to get ready for your next putt.
Tees Analysis Information
Molten – Plastic Golf Tees 3 1/4 & 1 1/2 inch – Red & White 50 Pack
Golf tees should be sturdy and reusable. If you are an avid golfer, you are going to use a lot of them. The right plastic tees can also help your golf game by helping minimize friction between the club and the ball.
The Benefits:
This package has multiple tee sizes to help you when teeing it up on with a driver or an iron. The lines on the tees allow you to keep a consistent height time after time. The tees are a bright red to help you find them after you hit them.
Tees are a necessary accessory. Get some that are going to last and provide you with consistent performance. This box is an ideal combination of both.
Golf Bags Reviewed
TaylorMade 5.0 ST Stand Bag
When golfers are looking for a new bag, we look for lightweight, durability, and walker friendliness. This means that it should be from a reputable company. This TaylorMade bag is a great go-to option for golfers in the market for a bag.
The Benefits:
The first quality I would note here is that this bag is very light and easy to carry. If you are a regular walker, this bag has straps that are adjustable to fit you. Our testers can confirm that this bag will last. From the trunk to the cart, and through 18 holes, your golf equipment will stay intact.
When you need a reliable and sturdy bag, this is your best option. Its lightweight design provides for ease of use, while its construction provides for long-lasting protection for your clubs.
Golf Cart Findings
KVV 3 Wheel Golf Push Cart Ultra Lightweight Small Folding Size
Walking a golf course is a great form of exercise. But, it can be difficult if you have a heavy bag or a bad back. This option from KVV comes highly rated. In a pull cart, we are looking for lightweight, durable, and portable. This cart hits all three requirements.
The Benefits:
The best quality this cart has is that it is simple to use and fold up and allows you to get 18 holes in without killing your back. The construction is durable and the design allows for ease of use.
Get your exercise while enjoying a round of golf. This bag will save your bag from carrying a bag. Your clubs are safe with this sturdy and reliable push cart.
Towels for Golfers
STICKIT Magnetic Towel – Microfiber Golf Towel with Deep Waffle Pockets
Usually, cool golf accessories do not include towels, but this magnetic microfiber option from Stickit is actually pretty cool. As a tester at Tell Me More Golf, I purchased this to see if it made a difference and I have to say, even I was surprised.
The Benefits:
This towel is a microfiber material that is great for golf. It is moisture-wicking and strong enough to help get the turf off of your club. As a taller golfer, the magnetic option helped my back as I could just use my clubhead to pick it up. Cleaning it is a bit of a chore but once you get used to removing the magnet, it’s no problem.
When shopping for new golf accessories, pick up this magnetic towel. All testers noted that this towel will last and keep your clubs and grips clean and dry. That is what you are looking for in a golf towel.
Club Head Covers
Andux 5pcs/Set Golf 460cc Driver Wood Head Covers with a Long Neck
Cover your new TaylorMade Stealth driver safely and easily with this set of five headcovers. In reviewing headcovers, we look for soft and durable covering to protect your clubhead. In addition, you want long neck covers to protect the golf shaft from any damage.
The Benefits:
This set comes with additional covers to put on your hybrids. They offer sturdy foam protection and enough space for your 460 cubic centimeter golf driver. They are not flashy but the protection of your clubs is most important.
This is a great option to see to it that your clubs are protected. We spend a lot of money on our woods and hybrids, so we need to make sure we maintain their integrity.
Ball Mark Repair Tools
Callaway 4-in-1 Golf Divot Repair Tool
Golf gadgets and accessories are abundant so go with a name you trust. In a divot tool, you want versatility, strength, and additional features. This product fits all of those needs.
The Benefits:
This is the ball marker that I use and make sure I never lose. It has a groove cleaner as well as a strong construction to fix those really deep ball marks when a golf tee won’t do. It also has a magnetic ball marker. A few times the ball marker has fallen off but was a user error when I was in a hurry.
This is a great tool to keep in your pocket so you are not on the green unable to fix your ball mark or others. This tool is a 4-in-1 and is worth the buy.
Groove Sharpeners
GrooVex Golf – Carbide Groove Sharpener
Your wedges likely need to be cleaned and your grooves need to be sharp going into the golf season. After reviewing and trying this product, I am a believer. This was the first groove sharpener I have purchased and I’m glad I did. We were looking for ease of use, quality construction, and the best results.
The Benefits:
Sharpening with this tool makes your grooves deeper while still conforming to the rules of golf. Other testers at Tell Me More Golf confirmed the quality of results when you get in the grooves with this tool. The instructions were not as thorough as we hoped, but golfers will quickly figure out how to use this properly.
Please go get a groove sharpener and you can thank us later. We know that clubs get dirty, but most do not know that club grooves also get worn. This will help save the grooves, especially for your wedges.
