In this article, we’re once again looking at golf cart brands. This time, it’s the turn of Kandi golf carts. We’ll be answering all the usual questions, such as who makes Kandi golf carts? plus we’ll tackle some frequently asked questions and let you know whether these golf carts are any good. Let’s go.

Who Makes Kandi Golf Carts?

First off, it is important to know who the creators of Kandi golf carts are. The company Kandi Technologies is the parent company of Kandi America, which creates Kandi golf carts.

Kandi America produces specialist electrical vehicles, including not only golf carts but cars, bikes and go karts. Their main aim is to provide an affordable option for customers, as well as being environmentally friendly. Therefore, you can enjoy a Kandi golf cart whilst knowing that it has been sustainably manufactured.

Where Are Kandi Golf Carts Made?

As well as being sustainably focused, Kandi golf carts are produced on home turf, right here in the USA. Manufactured in Dallas, Texas, Kandi America takes pride in designing, creating and distributing electric vehicles and parts, with a particular focus on golf carts.

With 6 emissions-free models to choose from, you are sure to find a green option to drive up to the greens!

The models are as follows:

  • Kruiser 4PRO Forward B – Seats 4 people (forward facing), available in 5 colors.
  • Kruiser 4PRO A – Seats 4 people – 2 facing forward and 2 facing backward – also available in 5 colors.
  • Kruisetr4PRO B – Similar to the 4PRO A, with the same features, but with a slightly different design.
  • Kruiser 2P – Nimble, compact, but with storage space to the back. Perfect for 2 people, available in six colors
  • Kruiser 4PLowest price cart in the range, seats 4 people, available in 6 colors
  • Kruiser 6P – The largest model in the range. Seats six people, available in six colors.

Are Kandi Golf Carts Any Good?

This is always the crucial question. Many golf carts come with lots of selling points on paper, but what’s important is the feedback of users.

As a golf coach with over 50 years of industry experience, I have used an untold number of golf carts, so yeah, I have hands-on experience with Kandi golf carts. Personally, I think they’re great, while I’ve heard good things from a few golfer friends too.

From my own experience, I can say that I have sampled both the Kruiser 4PRO A and the Kruiser 2P, both of which are fine carts to look at, especially the 4PRO, which really does look the part in Cavalry Blue with the aluminum wheels.

The best bit is that it is great to drive too.

You’re sure to get a comfortable ride. The driving range of 40 miles on a single charge is excellent as it allows for multiple trips round the golf course before a recharge is required.

What I really like about the Kruiser 4PRO, which is the Kandi cart that I have used the most, is the charging time. From 0% to 100% battery level it took 6.5 hours, which compared to many other carts that I have used, is fast. Some take 10 hours to charge, so a charging time of 6.5 hours is a real plus point. Another plus point is the fact that the cost is relatively low, at least in relation to some other golf cart brands, which are much pricier.

Who Owns Kandi?

Kandi golf carts are created by Kandi America, which is an electrical vehicle manufacturer based in the US. Kandi America is a subsidiary of Kandi Technologies Group Inc, which as mentioned above, acts as a parent company.
