Hardest Golf Courses in The World According to Our Golf Instructors at Tell Me More Golf in This List with Augusta National Golf Club

For those seeking golf’s ultimate test, there are plenty of incredibly hard golf courses all over the world. Sometimes it’s the design, and sometimes it’s the conditions that make a course perhaps too challenging

As the head golf instructor at Tell Me More Golf, and in this article, I will share our list of the 25 hardest golf courses in the world.

They’re put in an order, but you shouldn’t, for example, say that Augusta is tougher than Kiawah Island, as the difficulty depends on your game, conditions, and much more.

Instead, you should see this as a guide to the hardest golf courses, and not an exact ranking.

Most Difficult Golf Course in the World

Golfers will have different opinions of what the most difficult course is, as they have different ideas of difficulty and have experienced courses at different times. However, a commonly accepted answer for the most difficult course is Augusta National.

This is where the Masters are played every year, and the things that make this course so extremely challenging are mainly the demanding layout, undulating difficult-to-read greens, and strategically placed bunkers.
