Does Skechers Make Golf Shoes? — Golf Coach’s Advice

Does Skechers Make Golf Shoes from Tell Me More Golf Instructor Advice with Coaches

As an experienced golf instructor, I have seen many different brands of golf shoes come and go over the years. Skechers is a fairly young footwear company compared to legacy brands like Footjoy, as they have only been making golf shoes since the year 2010.

Today, there are over 60 different Skechers men’s golf shoes with over 30 options for ladies as well. In this article, we will take a deeper dive into Skechers golf shoes by highlighting some of their top selling models, as well as which professional golfers use Skechers on the PGA Tour.

Skechers Golf Shoes

The Skechers company was founded in 1992, and the company primarily produced work boots and work shoes initially.

Within a few years, the company had expanded into the production of athletic shoes and sneakers ranging from high performance to relaxed fit.

In 2010, Skechers released its first golf shoe which was called the Skechers Go Golf. It featured a one piece outsole and a traditional lace-up design. Within 2 years, the company had released the Skechers Go Golf Pro, which provided water resistant materials and better cushioning.

Over the past 10 years, Skechers has released dozens of different golf shoes, and the brand has become far more popular at golf courses around the world. They are available through major online retailers, as well as in-store at over 500 locations around the globe.

Skechers Go Golf Elite 5

The Go Golf Elite 5 is one of the best waterproof golf shoes on the market today. Skechers Go Golf Arch Fit Line Up

This comfortable spikeless golf shoe is a great choice for golfers who prefer to walk the course and play many long rounds on their feet. It has a highly durable outsole that is produced by the Goodyear company, and features the arch fit technology that Skeckers has become known for.

Skechers Go Golf Max Fairway 3

Skechers Go Golf Max Fairway 3 is a comfortable and lightweight golf shoe that is very breathable. This makes it a great choice for golfers who live in warm areas and require extra ventilation. While this golf shoe is water resistant, it will soak through in serious rain storms.

Skechers Go Golf Arch Fit Balance

The Skechers Go Golf Arch Fit Balance is one of the most popular ladies golf shoes produced by the company, and it has a great reputation for providing both comfort and durability. It has a removable arch fit insole that can be replaced after months of use and wear.

Professional Golfers Sponsored By Skechers

Over the years, Skechers has developed a stronger foothold in the golf community, and many golfers started taking the brand more seriously once they started sponsoring top tier professionals.

Matt Kuchar

Matt Kuchar was one of the first top tier professional golfers to join the Skechers team. The 9 time PGA Tour winner brought the brand much needed credibility at the time, especially when he continued to perform at a high level while wearing Skechers Go Golf shoes.

Brooke Henderson

Brooke Henderson is already one of the best female Canadian golfers of all time, and she secured her first major tournament victory at the age of only 18. She signed a contract with the Skechers company in 2022, and all signs indicate that she will win many more LPGA events in the future.
